Jayme Eck is a freelance cellist, educator, and content creator based in Westminster, Colorado, serving students and clients throughout the greater Denver–Boulder area. She holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance from Texas Christian University, where she studied with Dr. Juliette Herlin and served as a graduate teaching assistant for the string department. Jayme earned her Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music and completed a Suzuki Pedagogy Certificate through Book 10 under the guidance of Dr. Matthew Zalkind, Alice Yoo, and Heather Hadley. 

As a performer, Jayme is deeply committed to community engagement and fostering meaningful musical experiences. She performs with orchestras throughout the Southwest, including recent appearances as a substitute cellist with the New Mexico Philharmonic, and is dedicated to making classical music more accessible through outreach performances at public schools and retirement communities. Jayme also cultivates a diverse freelance career, providing music for weddings, private events, and other special occasions. Beyond the concert stage, Jayme has built an online community of over 35,000 musicians and music enthusiasts across social media platforms—including over 25,000 followers on Instagram (@jaymeckello)—where she shares educational content, glimpses into the life of a classical musician, and resources that inspire the next generation of musicians. 

In addition to her performing career, Jayme maintains a private cello studio and teaches students of all ages and levels. She strives to create a fun, positive learning environment that encourages musical excellence and a strong work ethic. Her students have been accepted into top youth orchestras in the Dallas–Fort Worth area, as well as highly competitive TMEA regional ensembles at both the middle and high school levels. Jayme believes that musical training develops skills that benefit students all areas of life, regardless of career path or interests.
